Well, it’s not very often that I can say something like that… but honestly, it’s true!
All you have to do for a chance to win this week long adventure for two to Namibia is enter our elephant competition! It’s all part of the Elephant Extravaganza, an event I’m helping to run to raise funds and awareness for elephant conservation with artist Nafisa Naomi and film maker Steve van Mil on 19th October at the Arthouse Hotel. By entering our competition you have a great chance to win yourself a week’s worth of mind-blowing, life-changing African adventure with Wilderness Safaris and Epic Private Journeys and know that your $20 is going to a great cause! And there’s loads of other great prizes to be won, including crystal from Swarovski, African books from Pan Macmillan Australia and loads more!
If you don’t live in Sydney or can’t make it to the Arthouse Hotel on the night (Monday, 19th October, 6pm), don’t worry – you can still enter the competition on line by clicking here. While you’re on the Animal Works website, take a look at the incredible elephant art by Nafisa Naomi (click here). She’s donating half the profits of the sales to elephant conservation and you can buy her prints on line – they make great Christmas presents!
We have set up a registered not-for-proft organisation called Animal Works to allow us to raise awareness and channel funds for wildlife conservation to the places that need it. Proceeds from the Elephant Extravaganza will help feed the victims of human-elephant conflict, a dozen orphaned elephants at the Wildlife Trust of India’s Centre for Wildlife Rehabilitation and Conservation, assist WWF India to establish chilli-based elephant deterents to reduce human-elephant conflict, and support the making of the documentary “Elephant Wars”.
Tickets to the Elephant Extravaganza are selling fast so secure your place now through the Arthouse Hotel by clicking here!
Cheers & thanks for your support… Please pass this message onto your friends and colleagues!
