Sydney Book Launch & Rhino Night

I’m very excited to be coming back to Sydney for a week in early August for the launch of my third book, “Planet Elephant” – a story of family, love and the global wildlife trade.  It seemed like a good opportunity to throw a bit of a shin-dig for fellow Africa-lovers as well as raise some funds for the causes that are close to my heart, and key to the message of this next book – stopping the poaching of rhinos and elephants in Africa.

So on Tuesday 6th August, please join me and the fantastic team at the SAVE Foundation for a sumptuous 3 course meal and drinks at Papaya Thai Restaurant, Cammeray, as well as the opportunity to bid on some spectacular prizes, including a 6 night luxury African safari from African Ubuntu Safaris, some very special wines from Poonawatta Estate, stylish safari luggage from The Classic Safari Company, African books from my wonderful publisher, Pan Macmillan (including copies of my new one, hot off the printer!) and True To Life Books, plus lots more….

It will be a tonne of fun and only 100 tickets will be sold, so get in quickly to secure yours ($100/head).  There will be signed copies of “Planet Elephant” available on the night and I’ll be speaking about some of the things I’ve seen both in Africa and Asia in the last few years in relation to the plight of elephants and rhinos across our planet.  Hope you can make it!  Last year’s first Imagine Africa dinner sold out in less than two weeks, so don’t leave it too late to book!  Tickets available online here now.
